Every year from mid-July to mid-September, in the southern winter, the south of the Caledonian lagoon sees a large population of humpback whales return: an opportunity to discover a form of animal ecotourism and to approach these animals by attending their often impressive events.
​
We do not offer a simple cruise, with Dollygrace, quality and service are there.
​
We organize these cruises with all our experience to amaze you.
Depending on the weather and the number of cruising days, Olivier, our Captain will adapt his navigation plan in this marvelous lagoon.
​
To appreciate them in all serenity and above all without disturbing them, go with us to their sanctuary . The departure is from Port Moselle in Nouméa, the night before in order to be on site very early in the morning in order to make the most of a calm observation.
It is not uncommon to come across a few playful dolphins on the road. The magic begins off the bay of Prony. Here, the landscape is spectacular. The blue of the ocean contrasts wonderfully with the red south of Grande Terre and the green vegetation. In these waters, the encounter with humpback whales is almost guaranteed.

The Program:
We prefer 24 hour outings only on weekdays from Tuesday.
Departure around 4:00 p.m. from Noumea to Ouen Island with the possibility of crossing whales on the way,
Overnight on Ouen Island or on an island further south in order to be the first in the early morning within their sanctuary!

The program:
Departure around 7 a.m. from Noumea to Ile Ouen with the possibility of meeting the whales on the way and sailing within their sanctuary with a return in the evening by sail around 6 p.m.
